NEET Result 2021 declared- Know the Next Process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 at its official website neet.nta.nic.in. All the candidates can download the NTA NEET exam results using application number, date of birth, and password. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) sent the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET result 2021 cum scorecard via email. Students who have appeared for the NEET exam on September 12, 2021, can download the NEET 2021 result in the form of a scorecard now.

NEET 2021 counselling dates will be announced soon. NEET-UG counselling 2021 will be held for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and BSc Nursing courses. NEET counselling registration round one link will be provided at the official website - mcc.nic.in. To register for NEET counselling 2021 first round, aspirants need to enter their personal, academic, NEET-UG, contact and other details. Students need to pay their NEET 2021 counselling registration fee online mode. During the MCC NEET counselling 2021, aspirants need to fill the choices of colleges as well as courses for admission. After the registration process, NEET-UG seat allotment will be done on the basis of NEET scores, choices filled, seat availability, reservation criteria and others.

Candidates who clear the NEET 2021 will be called for counselling which takes place at both the national and state level. Admissions for the national level will be based on the All India quota (AIQ) seats and will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC. Of the total seats, only 15 per cent of seats are covered in the AIQ while 85 per cent in the state quota. The counselling for 85 per cent of state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities.

All India Counselling– Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the all India counselling for admission to 15 per cent seats in all government medical and dental colleges, all seats of deemed universities/central universities/seats of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER. All the NEET qualified candidates can apply for admission through all India counselling.

State Counselling- The counselling authorities of the respective states conduct the counselling for 85% seats in government colleges and all the seats in private colleges. For admission to the state quota seats, candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria decided by the state authorities.
