NEET UG Counselling 2020: Registration For 2nd Round To Begin From Today

According to the latest update, the Medical Counselling Committee will begin the registration process for 2nd Round of Counselling for NEET 2020 from today i.e. 18th November 2020 onwards. Based on the remaining seats in the 15 per cent AIQ, the candidates who have not gotten a seat in the first round of counselling may now register for Round 2.

Candidates who want to participate in the 2nd Round of Counselling can register themselves by logging onto official website i.e. mcc.nic.in. MCC will announce round 2 counselling results on November 25 and selected candidates will have to take admission between November 26 and December 5.

 

2nd Round MCC NEET 2020 Counselling: Important instructions

 

Candidates who are participating in the 2nd Round of Counselling for NEET 2020 are advised to go through the important instructions that are listed below. These instructions will help candidates understand the counselling process and also point out the important terms and conditions for the same.

 

   1. As directed by the Supreme Court of India, Students taking admission to MBBS / BDS programmes under AIQ (All India Quota) will not be permitted to vacate seats
   2. Candidates allotted seats under 2nd Round in AIQ/ Deemed Counselling, can only opt for Exit with Forfeiture of security amount
   3. Candidates who are registered in 1st Round but didn’t get seats are eligible to participate in the 2nd Round
   4. Registered candidates whose seats got cancelled after being allotted in 1st Round during document verification, are eligible to participate
   5. Candidates allotted seats in 1st Round but those who are seeking upgradation
   6. Candidates who have been allotted seat under 1st Round but those who have not joined
   7. All Candidates need to register fresh for Round 2. There is no automatic carry over.
