The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 special examination today i.e. October 14 for the candidates who could not appear for the exams in September due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Candidates appearing for the exam can download the admit card of NTA NEET UG 2020 Re-exam by visiting the official website.
The National Testing Agency released an official notification on 12th October 2020 NEET UG 2020 will be reconduced on 14th October 2020 for all the candidates who registered but could not appear for NEET 2020 held on 13th September 2020. The official data shared by NTA revelas that a total of 15.97 lakhs candidates registered for NEET UG 2020.
Many candidates, either COVID-19 positive or residing in containment
zones along with candidates who approached such applicants 24 hours from
the commencement of the exam, however, could not appear for NEET UG
2020 conducted earlier. This was in line with the SOP issued by the
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in view of the safety of the other
NEET 2020 candidates and exam personnel.
Candidates are
advised to keep regular check on the official website of the NTA NEET
exam i.e. ntaneet.nic.in for any recent updates or information regarding
the results or the counselling procedure.
Accordingly,
the exam for aforesaid candidates is going to be conducted on 14.10.2020
(Wednesday)from 2:00-5:00 p.m and the combined Result of NEET (UG) 2020
(held on 13.09.2020 and to be held on 14.10.2020), would be declared on
16.10.2020(Friday).
