JEE Advanced Counselling 2020: Check Here Details of JoSAA Counselling Process

Attention candidates, The online registration process for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin today. JEE Advanced Result 2020 has been declared on the official website jeeadv.ac.in on October 5, 2020. IIT Delhi conducted the Joint Entrance Exam 2020. Now that the results have been declared, the joint seat allocation process has begun now on josaa.nic.in.

 


The candidates who have qualified the JEE Advanced 2020 examinations will be able to apply for the JEE Advanced 2020 counselling through the link available on the website. The link to register for the JEE Advanced 2020 counselling will be open from 10 AM. Counselling and choice filling is conducted to provide students seats in Indian Institute of Technology, IITs, National Institute of Technology, NITs, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, IIITs and other Government Funded Technology Institutes, GFTIs.

 

Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA had announced some changes in the admission process this year. According to an official statement released by JoSAA, there will be only six rounds of seat allotment conducted in 2020 as opposed to seven rounds conducted in the past three years. This has been done to ensure that the admission process is over before Diwali and the new academic session starts immediately.

 

The schedule of the joint seat allocation will be announced separately by JoSAA 2020. Candidates are requested to keep an eye on the official website of JoSAA, i.e., josaa.nic.in.

 

JoSAA Counseling 2020: Process of Registration

 

Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website at josaa.nic.in.

Step 2: Find the "Online Registration and Choice Filling".
Step 3: Candidates would be required to fill their JEE roll number and password to log in.
Step 4: The candidates would need to select the desired choices and lock them in the end.
Step 5: Candidates can modify their choices in case of any issues.
Step 6: After complete consideration, candidates can freeze their candidature for the course of their choice in the college they want.
Step 7: Submit the choice and download the allotment letter once the college is assigned.
